David Wyndham Lowe is a MSc student at the Social-Ecological Resilience for Sustainable Development Programme

Lowe is currently a student on the Masters programme. He joined the SRC to strengthen his understanding of systems and resilience concepts and is interested in how these ideas can be applied to corporate sustainability transformations. He is also interested in how specific conceptions of value and values manifest in the corporate world and how we can rethink these terms to drive sustainable transformations.

Prior to studying at the SRC, Lowe worked in accounting, auditing and corporate sustainability. He spent several years working for PwC, initially he was providing audit services and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). He then transitioned into ESG auditing and accounting and also spent time providing sustainability consulting services to FTSE100 and C25 companies. In the last few years, he was working in-house at a multinational consumer electronics company as a sustainability manager. Here he was responsible for sustainability strategy development, implementation and reporting. Before his professional career, Lowe completed a BSc in Geography at the University of Bristol focusing on climate science and glaciology.
